FitSteps is a dance fitness class featuring all of your favourite Strictly dances. It is suitable for all ages and abilities and you don’t need a partner.
Great music and choreography that is broken down so everyone can follow and enjoy the dance.
FitSteps is so much more than exercise. It's a chance to escape from everyday life, a place to make new friends and feel supported.
Book a classI trained as a FitSteps instructor because I love to dance, but rarely have an opportunity to do so because of all the usual commitments that push creative activities to the back of the queue.
FitSteps is great for people who lack confidence in their dance ability. New members often tell me that they have ‘no coordination’ or ‘two left feet’, but that is rarely the case, and FitSteps shows that even if you don’t do the steps exactly the way I do, or turn in a different direction, you can still enjoy the dance. One of my often-used phrases is ‘. . . or something similar’, since I want people to know that it doesn’t matter if they aren’t perfect.
